Finding your landscape and voice
Alenth is a 17th Century Scottish word that means ONWARD; it is the notion of making great progress and arriving at maturity. At Alenth we offer clients the opportunity to explore their own or organisation’s ‘metaphorical landscape’ to find their ‘WHY’, with a sense of rootedness, connectedness and purpose. We offers our clients the opportunity to find a fresh voice and express it in a distinctive style.
For twenty years, Elspeth has been helping businesses and individuals to distinguish, name and own their identity. Through reframing, defining and reimagining, she helps clients to unlock present potential, recognise future possibilities and reach new audiences.
Elspeth learned her craft in branding and communications with Wolff Olins and has worked with global brands, the creative industries and the public and private sector. Following a number of years working with renowned UK and international clients in Brazil, Russia, Spain and Greece, she established her own consultancy, North Collective, in 2012.
As a certified Executive Coach, graduating at the University of Cambridge in 2017, Elspeth brings her wealth of experience in the business world. Specialising at a senior executive level for almost two decades, the two aspects of her career are symbiotic, enabling her to fully appreciate current executive and organisational challenges at first hand whilst holding that crucially objective role as coach and consultant. In 2020 she established Alenth.
Executive coaching consolidates Elspeth’s background and business expertise where the exploration of one’s identity or offer is central. Her role as branding and communications specialist supports individuals and organisations to find their voice, their ‘essence’ and brand proposition, creating impactful and memorable communications strategies. Together, with business associates Alan Ramsey and Listening Partnership, Alenth offers a new and synergetic proposition.
Originally gaining a degree in Interior Architecture at Napier University, Elspeth studied Cultural Management at the University of Edinburgh and Executive Coaching at the University of Cambridge. Elspeth is a Trustee of Glasgow Short Film Festival and a Board Director of Friends of Glasgow School of Art.
